For Doctors

I offer training to medical doctors and physicians on how to assess a patient for a possible eating disorder and how to talk about a potential eating disorder with a patient. Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness and doctors are often able to respond and catch a potential eating disorder, but that rarely happens. As a result, many individuals with eating disorders never receive the help they need. The Portland area has very few medical doctors that are eating disorder competent and we need more! I offer trainings to teams of physicians and individuals as well. It is an affordable way to become more aware and responsive to the high need for trained medical providers in this area.
